Kingfisher Trail is a 0.6 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Roland, Arkansas that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
This hard-surfaced loop trail winds through the floodplain of the Little Maumelle River. Unique plants, wildflowers, animals and birds can be seen here. Along the river, large cypress trees filter sunlight into this special bottomland forest. Birdwatchers will enjoy exploring this trail early in the morning.
This is a neat trail. It is very short but the forest it goes through is very tall and slender; mostly hardwood (I assume the park rangers have culled out the pines). There are very large cypress trees along the Maumelle river. The river is also pretty as long as it is not the dry season and it is flowing.
We walked this after coming off of West Summit stair master ... very relaxing! Nice paved trail!
Nice short paved trail. The is actually 0.5-miles in length. HUGE cypress trees along the river. And you can find quite a few wildflowers on this trail. Great for kids or a short walk in the woods.
A short but very pretty trail. The Cyprus trees are worth it by themselves.
Nice short paved trail with a lot of very old trees. Nice for a leisurely stroll.
Pretty scenery. This trail is short and sweet, and educational!
Nice trail - Loved the trees and wildlife found on such a short trail.
Awesome paved trail for all ages
