Fairview NF Campground is a moderately trafficked trail located near Pelsor, Arkansas that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for camping and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Fairview National Forest Campground is located on 7hwy, just north of Pelsor, Arkansas. It has picnic tables and primitive for fee campsites w/fire rings. The view is exceptional with gorgeous sunsets. It is a good staging ground for hiking, canoeing and other outdoor activities. The campground is an access point to the Ozark highland trail.
You can confirm with the NF at the ph. number provided. NF official website still shows the campground open. It is a simple campground central to a lot of hiking in the area. Can be used as a base camp.
Check with the NFS, but I believe they closed this campground.
Fairview is a typical primitive NF campground. Has a great view, but to close to hwy.
Excellent location to stage from as you engage in day outdoor activities in the area. Many nice hikes in just a few miles
