Blanchard Spring Trail is a 0.2 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Mountain View, Arkansas that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
Blanchard Springs pours out of the mountainside and into a glassy-surfaced trout pond appropriately named Mirror Lake. The lake is a great place to take the family pond fishing for rainbow trout. Nearby is a short, scenic walk around the lake and to the falls where all water exits from the caverns.
short but cool view from the back.
A short little hike to a beautiful waterfall and mill. The trail and the area can be very crowded, but worth the trip to see the area.
This is a very easy, heavily trafficked trail that leads down to the spring coming from the cave. It's very beautiful and easy to find.
Beautiful place. Don't forget to go to the waterfall and the old mill for some awesome photography!
Cave tours are nice
The paved trail, while worth the short walk up and back to see the springs pouring out of the rock, is not all that fantastic. But the several trails easily accessible from the same parking lot are beautiful and not at all crowded.
Pleasant boardwalk to a gorgeous spring. Must see when in the neighborhood.
Blanchard Springs state park has great picnic area, for fee campground, nice fishing lake and of course great cave tours, including wild cave tour. It is a destination hike.
Perfect outing for a hot, sultry Arkansas day. Trails branch off this one and head up the mountain to a shelter. Nice falls.
