Perfect 1 mile run, a loop if you run back to the trail head once you reach the road. Easy access and the landscape this time of year is actually beautiful. It's definitely rocky but the patches of sand make it a great cardio run.

Moderate hike. Not a loop. There are other trail heads at end of Mule Deer, but taking them would make it a much longer hike

I enjoyed the ease of this trail. It was perfect for a hot day and really enjoyed the landscape. The minor elevation was just enough for what I consider a relaxing hike.

This is one of my go-to mountain biking trails. There are several routes but most will lead you back to a trailhead if you go too far off course. This is a good one for a hiker not looking for big climbs and elevation changes.

This is not a trail that goes up any of the mountains but more a flat trail between the mountains. We were in hopes to hike up a mountain and found ourselves a bit disappointed. However, this trail would be a great running or biking trail. There are not many elevations along the route. Be aware that the trail is not well marked and may require you to improvise a bit when trying to find your way back to the trailhead.

Used the trail for mountain biking. Beautiful trail with lots of elevation changes. The trail is not clearly marked in some areas and I ended up on a the Bajada and the South trail in some parts. Mule Deer trail in not a loop and the trail back up the side of the mountain to get back to the trail head was very challenging and I did have to walk a few yards. I haven't been mountain biking in years however, and this trail reminded me of all the reasons why I loved it so much.

This is a great running trail. It is challenging but not too difficult.
