nice desert hike, enough elevation change for a decent workout, we carry our backpacks loaded getting in shape for longer treks.
Good trail. The loop itself is about 3.85 miles, nice and not to hard. The 2 summits are about .5 up each, these guys get your heart rate going. Not overly crowded, well maintained trail and trail head.
My go to hike-living by Tramanto. From parking to the summit...about 50 minutes. Take D trail to DS then back
Nice couple of summits. Lots of cholla so watch your feet. Got to see a desert tortoise!
Not 5.6 miles. 3.5 actual loop
found my log this morning after abandoning 1 week ago. it was 106 and 12 noon when i dropped it off on the trail.
make sure you know what trail you're on, easy to get lost
Nice little hike, I think more like moderate rather than hard. Pretty enjoyable, best thing about this hike is its not at all crowded, maybe because it's July, but still I saw five people all morning, and four were within the first 1/4 of the hike.
beautiful 360 view of mountains from Dixie Summit trail
Well maintained. Easy to moderate hiking. Beautiful views to the east. A must do.
" Hike Hard"
Pretty fun trail. I am a novice with a hard tail wishing I had a full suspension on some parts. Doesn't take to long as is great first thing in the am.
