Good stroll for so close by.
Amazing place for a nature walk. Great for kids, birding, fishing, running, and walking. There is even a community telescope that is open on Friday and Saturday nights for free without reservations.
Never knew this place existed just 10mins from our house! Great place to get outdoors for those with small kids too little for more advanced hiking trails. Lots of shade on trails, more dog poop than there should be but to be expected in such a heavily populated area. I will def be going back with my 5yr old and 1yr old for many more morning walks
Love this place for a quick outing...
Great for a family friendly walk. It's right next to a library and several lakes/ponds. Great for dogs as well. We even saw a lady "walking" her iguana so if that's your thing ... They're iguana friendly too. Lots of bird watchers and photographers. All around an easy local walk.
fun place to take the kids
awesome place to let the kids run & play
Very nice, not all the ponds are full but it's still pretty. Lots of people on the weekend but still relatively quiet. Will go again
Beautiful small park in Gilbert area. Several little ponds with ducks, but some are dried out depending on when you go. Tons of ducks! And they have little hummingbird, bee, and butterfly gardens. The large pond you can fish out of out. But it is heavily populated. You'll see people taking pictures everywhere.
During the winter months, the preserves ponds are teaming with shore birds. The pond by the library has ducks year round. The trails are accessible by nearly anyone. It's a small paradise in the city.
My dog and I love this place!
Fun light trail!!!
Nice and scenic
Has both paved and dirt trails. Nice easy walk and saw not only the birds but rabbits, bees and butterflies
Decent trail, very easy to get around for anyone but especially children or eldery/disabled people. Unfortunately we didn't get hardly any rain this summer so a few of the "ponds" were dried up. Lots of bushes and trees for shade, plenty of spaces with benches to sit and enjoy the view, or just take a little break. We saw a lot of bunnies, birds, and insects on the trail. Overall a nice hike for us and our 2 pups.
good for kids under 8
