We rode MTBs from Toms Thumb trailhead to this loop and back ! nice ride
This is a fantastic trail for any level. I've been on this trail several times and prefer the clockwise direction. There are a couple of steeper climbs that a beginner will probably have to walk up, but the long descent makes it all worth the effort. Fun!
Easy MTB Loop, gentle long climb and a super fun fast downhill! Great desert views!
Awesome half day ride. Take the time to stop and enjoy the views!
We mountain biked this trail counter clock wise and it was incredible! I am a beginner. One of my friends is intermediate and he loved it too. The whole second half was a long smooth downhill cruise. If you are looking for a more adrenaline downhill then I recommend going clockwise. The whole loop took us about 3 hours breaking frequently the first half of the trail.
Nice trail for a distance hike or trail running. We were hiking it cause we are trying to do all of the new Maricopa trail. Very pretty views all the way around. A lot of mt bikes.
We took Bell Pass Trail to the Bell Pass Saddle, which got quite steep towards the top and carried our bikes up the last 0.8 miles. Nice quick descent over the other side, lots of single track and not a soul in sight. Followed the signs to Pemberton Trail. A++ ride.

Harder than expected. Down hill was amazing.
Great mountain biking! Quick gradual down hill second half if you go clockwise!
Did this trail on a mountain bike. Great trail with minimal rocks. Best to go clockwise and you will have a quick fun windy downhill--watch for big cows. Loved this ride.
Riding counter clockwise, you pedal up the slightest incline for about 5 miles, before the terrain starts to roll and wrap up with a few miles of fast down-hill. Not a difficult trail for a mountain bike but you will enjoy the ride. Additional trail options have increased the distance to about 19 miles if you should choose to take'em.
See video of the last-half of the trail, speeding though the downhill side:
Came down from Tom's Thumb trail head, fun ride downhill, bit of a challenge going back. Very beautiful scenery.
great trail to ride my bike. i really recomend this trail...
Actually used cycleX bike twice now. Lots of fun. Maybe a little to easy for a mountain bike challenge but scenic with wildlife and fast.
Flat and very easy. Length is the only challenge.
This is a beautiful trail in the spring, when the wildflowers are out.
Fun roller coaster singletrack. Not much elevation gain. Decent but short technical loop. Sport loop is great for beginners or more experienced riders who could get some adrenaline going if they wanted to.
