National Trail is a 15.9 mile lightly trafficked point-to-point trail located near Phoenix, AZ that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a long hike and you wont see to many people on until your near the end. there is no water anywhere on this trail so bring plenty.

It's pretty level, but the last couple miles are just killer! You're tired and there is nothing pretty to look at :-(

Did part of this from Mormon Loop/Pina wash trail. Updated the map, because this trailhead is not actually in the South Pacific.
