Mount Peeley Trail is a 5.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Payson, AZ that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
The dirt road into this hike is long haul but worth the trek. Would only reccomend it with a proper vehicle. Not many people to be found and the views were spectacular. We also saw some unique looking brightly colored small birds in the cover of the trees as you get close to the trailhead. Wished we had brought binoculars.
