Hermans Cave is a 13.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Apache Junction, AZ that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from November until April.

Park at Peralta Trailhead and there is restooms, but no running water

It was a little warm out today. I wasn't dressed for it and got sunburned. once you get on the Whiskey Springs Trail the brush gets thick. But the cactus are blooming as are the flowers.
This time of the year there are a lot of snakes as this is breeding season, so watch out. I did see a Gila Monster on this trail but it was to quick for me to get a photo.
I will do this again but I will be more properly prepared I did have 5 liters of water which was enough.
