Dixie Summit Trail is a 3.1 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Phoenix, AZ that offers scenic views. The trail is rated as difficult and primarily used for hiking and trail running. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A steep and difficult short trail using many switchbacks to get to the summit. You will be rewarded with spectacular views of the surrounding area.

very easy i dont know why it is rated as difficult.... the dixie loop trail is long with very little incline. the dixie summit does have good incline but is very short

Nice little spur that goes straight up. Good views. Can stay on Dixie loop to Dixie loop summit. Good workout and parking facilities just finished.

Streneous and steep with lots of switchbacks - great views of the surrounding preserve from the summit. You will need proper hiking footware for this trail as is it very rocky.
Accessible only from the Dixie Mountain Loop Trail, head east on the loop to reach this summit trailhead quickly.
