Bear Sign Canyon Trail is a 7.1 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Sedona, Arizona that offers scenic views and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Directions from the junction of Routes 89A and 179: Take 89A west 3.2 miles to Dry Creek Road on the right. Go 1.9 miles to FS 152 on the right. Take this unpaved road 4.4 miles to trailhead parking at its end. Forest Road 152 is normally passable for any car but should be avoided in wet weather.
Did this with the David Miller trail. Did not see one other person. Must have a 4x4 to get to trailhead. Beautiful and peaceful. While Bear Sign is easy, the loop with David Miller can be challenging for some. Saw some change of leaves.
