The Arcadia trail begins at the Arcadia NF campground group use area and heads west up the drainage. It is a simple walk through the woods but it does open up to some great views of the valley below. Their are signs of a forest fire from previous years but the area is recovering nicely. Their is nice elevation gain but is a moderate hike because it is laid well with switchbacks. Also, because of the elevation the temperatures would be somewhat temperate most the the summer.
