The 360' views are great. There is also an opportunity to visit a vortex while overlooking Sedona and OC. Saw wildlife too, a Javelina crossed our path-pretty cool.
Very accessible trail for parking, and the loop provides nice views of Sedona. Even with snow on the ground the trail was clearly marked and easy to follow.
Not Easy.... I maybe from the Midwest but when I have to choose my footing for 80% of the trail I don't consider it easy! Views we beyond amazing! Elevation changes were decent, even though you circle the airport and all the businesses on the Mesa, much of the trail still feels "remote".
enjoyable. east side of trail had areas of smooth, sloping stones near the edge which may be unsuitable for young children or people with fear of heights.
Panoramic views throughout the Airport Loop hike. I think it should be moderate; some places are very dicey and my gps put it at 5.0 miles, not 3.2! It certainly felt like 5 vs 3!
beautiful at sunset!
Great first time hike in Sedona. Breath taking views. Definitely needed more water...
The 3.2 mile hike should not be rated easy. The first half is quite difficult, trail extremely narrow in many spots with straight dropoff to your left. Once you make it to the second half it could be considered easy.
Loved the variety of terrain, scenery and elevation.
