Beautiful easy hike, lot's of options and well defined trails. I enjoyed the history of the trail too.
Amazing hike. Nice, well maintained trail.
Good easy hike, took our time.
Really lovely hike, not too strenuous. Lots of great scenery and little side hikes as well. Also did the Mount Juneau Trail (in five hours!) which was stunning and very rewarding.
Great, easy hike up Gold Creek. Starts with easy access from Basin Road. Well maintained trail but not wheelchair or stroller friendly. Can be fairly busy on weekends. Branches to Mt. Juneau Trail or Granite Creek Trail make a longer, more difficult day hike.
Relaxing on a cool drizzling day. So beautiful I forgot to take extra photos
Beautiful! We caught a rare sunny weekend , even got a sunburn in Juneau , which is as rare as Unicorns.
Great, we went to the Glory Hole.
Great trail. Last 1/4 mile was cut short by black bear!
It was great. The trail kind of just a ends at a washed over bridge. Now sure if I actually finished the trail, but it was pretty.
10k trail run. Beautiful views.
It was pouring the day we went but i still enjoyed it. Breathtaking views everywhere you look, you can't go wrong with this one. Loved reading all about the history of the area from the posted signs. Great way to spend a few hours in Juneau!
Fun and fast! Challenging climbs early on the way out, mix of rocks and smooth hills. Gorgeous river along the trail and lots of waterfalls!
