dogs on leash
pretty decent hike with the family
Great way to spend a few hours on the trail. The first half of the trail to Echo Bend is heavily trafficked and the trail is wide and flat. Once you pass the Rapids yurt things become less busy and the scenery really improves too! Great river views from this point on.
I would do it again with out stroller the loop was full of roots and hard to use with stroller had to pack it
Beautiful & easy. Inclines were not too steep. Scenery is absolutely gorgeous!
Hiked the Iditarod Trail to Echo Bend and then took the Dew Mound Trail back to the nature center. Well maintained trail with great views of the Chugach Range. The hike took around 3 hours with no snow and very little ice, which was nice for late November.
Took my two youngest for a 3-miler through the Albert Loop...saw a moose...too many bugs for my liking on this one. The river access was pretty cool for sure!
Attire center is nice. Easy hike around a loop or cross cross around in the loop. Connects to crow pass Iditarod.
Completed a few years ago. Well appointed nature center and views of salmon in season.
