Nice after work walk or a great leg stretcher .
The kids and I enjoy that place!
Good atmosphere, and great to bring along a picnic basket
Nice, quiet trail. Very simple. Went in early January with the dog. I'm sure it is even prettier in the Spring.
Nice short hike. More for nature viewing than serious hiking. Trail well maintained and easy to follow. Feed the ducks!
Perfect short hike in S Huntsville, 20 minutes from road to trail. A great getaway, my whole family enjoyed the hike.
Beautiful walk! Music in the lodge, a nice trail around the lake with a lot of side trails and places for the dog to swim. Very enjoyable and easy walk. Great features!
This is a very beautiful park and trail with an old log cabin and a covered bridge.
Very pretty trail with lots of great shots of the lake. Bring some sandwiches for the end. Lots of picnic tables by the lake to enjoy! Dog friendly. All ages of dogs.
Very popular trail on the weekends. During the week it is usually empty. Easy short hike. Great place for taking kids on hikes. There are things along the way to explore such as a covered bridge, log cabin and a little church. Great picnic area. Beautiful during the fall color change as the lake reflects the colors.
We spent one afternoon walking this trail very nice and peaceful.was on a weekday, has a lot of other side trails as well.
