Conecuh Trail is a 20 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Wing, AL. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and trail running.
The Conecuh National Forest is a good ways from any interstate, you can find it on the map just south of Andalusia. From the north the best way is to get off I65 at Exit 107, go east for a few miles to 55 south, which is a 4 lane road all the way to Andalusia. In Andalusia take 29 south to 137.
Nice easy well marked trail. Used this to test out new backpacking gear. The trail is easy to follow and well maintained and seemingly seldom used. There are several lakes and one spring fed blue pool
Perfect swimming hole.
This is a hiking trail. No bike tracks. I didn't see signs as to not to bike on it, but the grass and thick layer of leaves would make it pretty hard.
Was a pretty fun local trail. Well marked and easy to follow, plenty of off shoots for this more adventurous. Level terrain throughout the majority of the ride.
Excellent beginner trail, smooth well marked trail with mild terrain and elevation yet with beautiful scenery. Some recent controlled butn activity but not much.
