If you enjoy great sea views, big skies and historic landscapes then visit the Oyster Bay Trail. The route is mostly flat surfaced paths between Swalecliffe and Reculver. The first phase of this new cycle route is a promenade, new traffic-free cycle paths and lightly trafficked residential roads. Part of the route travels along the traffic calmed Herne Bay sea front which also benefits from a 20mph speed limit along Central Parade.

Great to mountain bike if you just want a bimble in the sunshine as not too strenuous. Can get busy with pedestrians.
