Urquhart Bay Woods to Loch Ness is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Drumnadrochit, SCT that features a lake. The trail is good for all skill levels and primarily used for hiking and walking.
A short stroll through fine alder woodland leads to a peaceful spot on the shores of Loch Ness. Though the bridge has currently been washed out, it's still possible to reach the lake if you're willing to scramble over some logs.
An easy walk out to a beautiful view of Loch Ness where you can dip your toes. With the bridge out, you have to do some exciting scrambling across a beaver dam to get to the beach, but it's well-worth the effort!
