Setesdal Otra River Loop is a 1.7 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Valle, Aust-Agder, Norway that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is accessible year-round.
This is one of the best places for observing wildlife in Setesdal. Here you have good chances of meeting beaver, roedeer, moose, capercaillie and a variety of other animals and birds. You start on a gravel road which becomes a forest road and follow it all the way to the shore of the mighty Otra river. Then you walk back through the forest with an option to explore the islands if you have waterproof boots to cross the shallow stream. Check out the beautiful forest and wildlife here!
