Shortly after leaving your starting point, you will come to a fork in the road. Keep right here and continue on through the next crossroads. At the next fork, keep left and follow the rising road into the Knockmealdown Mountains. Follow this road until you reach a series of S bends, traversing several small bridges spanning the streams running down from the mountains. Continue on this road as it rises up toward the forests. A short distance from the S bends, you will notice a way-marker on your left. Following the direction it highlights, climb over the stile and continue along the path it, and further way-markers, sets out across the mountain. You will come to a mountain track which eventually becomes a road along the base of the Knockmealdowns. Proceed along this road, enjoying some beautiful views south over the valleys. When you reach a T junction, turn left and follow the road down past the signpost and bungalow to your car.
