From the Academy of Athens to the Archeological Museum, this is a walking tour of a history-and-activity-packed district of Athens. As the location of the Athens Polytechnic Uprising in 1973 and home of many universities, student bars, art venues and research institutes, Exarchia is Athens' equivalent of Paris' Latin quarter. A hub of hip life during the day time and a hive of arty activity at night, this trendy quarter is also home to some of the city's most stunning museums, greenspaces and architecture.
