Saleccia Beach Trail is a 14.4 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Saint-Florent, Haute-Corse, France that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
The beach where the movie "the longest day" was filmed in 1962 is considered as one of the most beautiful in Europe. Located on the North West coast of Corsica, the Agriates desert is famous for its white sand soft beaches with crystal clear water. Water temperatures are over 25 degree during the hot summer days. The most famous beaches are Lotu and Saleccia but there are plenty of other very nice places. The trail is the walk between Lotu and Saleccia along the coast. The nearest city is Saint Florent, a small marina with hotels and restaurants.
