  • Red/roed route
Tour of approximately 6.3 km from the parking site at Helligkildevej passes the journey through the animal garden. In the old forrest you can find 2 different deer species: sika and fallow deer. The animals have thick skins in wintertime, where calves pass along with reservations, while deer of all ages take in groups. Winter coat was replaced by a thinner and more colorful skins in april when the Deer also casts geviret. The dears start having calves in June. They are hidden, where the stand is relatively high. The time for mating is in October/november. Deer are assembled in an open space and games to win votes in favour with the does. Between "The PYT Lakes" and Bybaekvej the forest is supervisory beech. They were planted in 1710. By Bybaek Runddel the trip passes the fishing house and island in the ocean. Along the Hunterspath there are flowers that needs to grow in a hot and humid place . 2 burial mounds from the Bronzeage near Bybaekvej can be seen as two smaller rises in the terrain. You can see kitchen middings from the bronzeage when you look on the slope behind the fishing House. Here lies a large amount of seashells, in particular from the large spike cockle. The Erteboelle People lived in Vejle Fjord for about 7000 years ago and lived on the seas wealth of mussels, fish, saeler, whales and some of the birds that was associated with the marine environment. I juni begynder hinderne at faa kalve.
