Pointe aux Carrieres Loop is a 6.2 mile loop trail located near Montréal, Quebec, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and is accessible from April until October.
The Mont-Royal is easily accessible (20 to 30 minutes walk from the downtown) and provives a widely developped network of trails to be in the forest (mostly hardwood but also some evergreen). The view on the belvedere, on top of the mountain, is one of the best overlooking Montréal. You can bring your dog on leach..., You can bike to the top, cross country and skate in winter..
I give it a four stars for what I would describe as an "urban trail"
