Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre Trails is a 1.4 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Midland, Ontario, Canada that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from April until October.
My wife and I went for an afternoon hike in April and it was quite enjoyable. It is a very easy walk with some great sights to see. Our only concern were the animals living in captivity. There are several large birds of prey that are confined in cages and used in shows. Perhaps they are injured and can't be released. They also keep snakes in small glass cages. This doesn't seem right and it had a negative impact on our visit. Other than this, an enjoyable place to visit.
The trails are also open for all kinds of winter activities, including cross country skiing and snowshoeing. They also have rentals.
