Great trail. Give 4 to 5 hours for return. Stay away from the cliff edge at the end.. Awesome views.
Amazing trail. Not too hard. Amazing view from the top
Fantastic trail. Did this multiple times. Even once with infant carriers front and back. The view is always better then expected. Could be super dangerous at the end if not careful. Just stay clear from the edge and enjoy. Easy hike
The five stars are for the view you are rewarded during this hike/walk. The view was spectacular! The hike there was more of a nice and easy walk, would make for a great jog/trail run.
Easy trail with some great views at the end of it. Well worth the hike.
Nice easy trek with a spectacular view at the end. More of a nature walk than a hike, with a wide, well cleared and groomed trail from start to finish. If you have time it's worth following the smaller, more rugged trail down the hill from the look off. It eventually leads to a lovely rocky beach that's often pretty empty, even on nice days when the rest of the trail is packed.
easy hike on the main path with a fantastic view at the end. there is a large grassy look off at the end perfect for a picnic. I haven't looked for the 2nd path yet, where does it start?
One of the great hikes in Nova Scotia, amazing view out at cape split. The trip is one everyone should make at least once in their lifetime. For a more advanced hike check out the amethyst Cove hike which vears off of the cape split trail. Always check tide times when exploring the bay of fundy before exploring the beach. Cape split is always a great hike and very much worth the long walk.
Awesome hike! There is a choice of trails to get to the split one takes you through the woods along an up and down footpath of on even ground with roots, rocks and tree branches everywhere. The other trail takes you along the shore and is not easy. It takes you along some very narrow footpaths that are near the edge of a very steep drop to a certain death!! Once you reach the end at Cape Split you will be amazed!! Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful views!! This is a must joke for all hikers in Nova Scotia. Make a day of it and be safe!!
Great Winter Hike, beware lot's of tree roots and rocks on the trail. Great views across to Parsboro and the Bay. Well worth the hike to see the view at the end. Spectacular as the tide is going out. Must be beautiful in summer.
