Coppermine Trail is a 3.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Alma Parish, New Brunswick, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October.
This trail was either going up or down the mountain and was fairly steep in a few areas. We had to cross a few small creeks along the way, but there were plenty of rocks or boulders to use to cross without getting wet. We took the fork to the right which took us away from the coast to start and I suggest this route because you will be climbing uphill almost steadily on the way in, but downhill on the return which is always preferable in my book! And the views were much better on the return as you could look out through the trees to the brilliant blue of the Bay of Fundy and see Nova Scotia in the distance across the bay.
