Proctor Mountain Trail is an old hiking trail that leaves from the Information Centre and follows the Fairy Creek Trail for the first 1.2 kilometres. The trail then turns up the power line road and turns again into the forest and climbs a very steep hiking trail through the woods to the alpine. The last half of the hike is a route up the rocky south ridge of Proctor Mountain and across open alpine meadows. The Proctor Mountain summit is 400 metres lower than the Three Sisters summit but this hike starts at the valley bottom and requires 1400 metres of climbing in seven kilometres of steep climbing.
