Lighthouse Park Trail is a 2.6 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near West Vancouver, BC that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, trail running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
A quick loop guide to getting the most out of this small park. At the far south/west point of West Vancouver along Marine Drive is the Lighthouse Park. A small(ish) park it gives a great representation of the west coast flora and terrain. While the core of the park would be considered easy terrain, the outer loop trails represented by this guide should be considered moderate and you should definitely be equipped for the terrain. A great hike, this back and forth loopy walk will take you through most areas of the park and show you all the major view points and highlights. Official trail maps can be found at the information kiosks in the parking lots or downloaded from the City of West Vancouver website.
Beautiful and easy. Very dog friendly and the trails are clear and concise. :)
Nice and easy trail. Couldn‘t get into the lighthouse though.
It's a beautiful area with great views
Absolutely beautiful. I could do this everyday!
Clear trail markers, a bit muddy in March, well worth the view.
If you dont know the bc west coast, this is a must see trail. It gives the hiker the ulltimate experience of the rugged and beautiful coastline nestled into the forest.
A very busy Summer small trail system but still very nice. If you are local be sure to appreciate it in the off season...
Enjoy. Be safe. Be prepared. Be out there.
One of my favourite places to relax and enjoy the lush environment.
One of my favourites in Vanvouver. Real pine trees smell, nice warm rocks, sea and view. Fantastic.
