Lake Oesa Trail is a 7.3 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Columbia-Shuswap, British Columbia, Canada that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and birding and is best used from March until September.
although hard to access due to 3 month advance planning to obtain the pass to ride the bus 7 miles in the Lake Ohara region is a hikers paradise. Lake Oesa is spectacula but it can be a lunch spot for hikers on the famous Alpine Circuit hike. if you are lucky enough to be there on a decent weather day you will see and photograph perhaps the best mountain scenery on the planet. Access is quite restricted so do your research and plan ahead.
Nice day hike in beautiful alpine settings. I took over 200 photos on this hike. One of my favorites for sure!
