5 hour hike to St.Marks Summit. Bowen island lookout and the view at st. mark summit are 5 stars.
great hike. we went to st marks summit. it was a bit muddy near the last 1/4 of the hike but the views were well worth it! we will definitely do this one again next year!
Long, (medium) tough but worth it.
So fun! It's a decent length to St Marks Summit which is where we stopped and turned back. It was very muddy so bring proper hiking shoes/boots for stability and so you don't wreck your runners. Bug spray is also helpful, especially towards the top. There's some steep inclines and nicer small descents to break things up. I'm excited to try this again later in the season when hopefully it dries out a bit more. Lots of people later in the day so go early to avoid crowds.
Its a beautiful hike. We went till Saint Marks summit and then turned back. There is still some snow up there but its totally doable till Saint Marks summit and I would say the view is worth the hike. I ll probably to do the entire trail sometime later in July again after the snow has melted.
It was not easy trial for me, but it is beautiful!
Great views of Vancouver as well as the north shore ranges and Howe sound. Hiked from start to the lions camping 2 nights along the way. It was August and hot as fuck. Bring water and water purifier.
Did the route to St-Mark, really nice hike with a great view at the end. If you go after a rain fall, it will be muddy, but still worth it.

The hike was quite the trek but no terrain too difficult - mostly trees and boulders to climb over. There were no spectacular views on the way but the St Mark's Summit was awesome. Make sure you go further down the narrow trail for a better view of Howe Sound, the high ways, oceans, islands, everything! 5 hours round trip. Pack lots of water!
Hard switchbacks on the way up but well worth the view. Only went as far as st marks summit where there is a snake trail to the left to check out the view, make sure not to miss this! 2 hours up an hour and a half back down
