Galloping Goose Railroad Trail -- Sooke Road Second to Third Junction is a 13 mile point-to-point trail located near Langford, British Columbia, Canada. The trail is primarily used for walking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round.
Constructed on the abandoned CNR (Canadian National Rail) the Galloping Goose Trail covers a distance of 55 km plus with all the new connections of the E&N and the Lochside trails. This is entirely off the road except a few road crossing, many giving the right way to the cyclists. Parts of the trail are beautiful in case with a cathedral of trees. Very easy, trail mainly flat. Dogs are allowed on leash. We took ours for 30km ride. I love riding downtown to see all the hustle and bustle of the city.
Great trail for biking and a great trail for linking up with Lochside to get to the ferries or bike to Sidney for a day trip!
