In 1999, Brunswick Beach joined the Village of Lions Bay. The Centennial Trail celebrates the 100th Anniversary and the completion of the interconnection of the communities. To aid navigation, this trail is frequently marked with yellow triangles on trees. From the Lions Bay General Store, the trail heads northward following Highway 99. It is an easy hike and is perfect for children and to see the area. Several plaques and educational signs are placed along the way to highlight trees, wildlife and nature elements. The trail ends in Brunswick Beach.
