It was kinda cloudy when we went so the lakes looked really cool but there wasn't much to see at the lookouts. The first bit has a lot of traversing uphill but once you're up there it's gorgeous!
nice easy hike, and a great swimming lake at the end. good hike for dogs too.
it is a good hike to Cabin lake, Black Mountain and Eagles Bluff. Not very difficult but a good work out. A lot of people there caused a lot of traffic jams on more technical sections.
Very steep start, and not recommended after alot of rain as it gets pretty muddy but the views are spectacular. Recommend finishing up to Eagle Bluffs before heading back down.
Great hike but it is not "easy" and not 35m as this entry claims. It is 300m of steep switchback on course gravel and rock up to the lake. It should be rated moderate.

Worth the hike up to the lake. Great views and multiple trails. Including Eagles Bluff. Not as crowded as other trails I've tried in the Vancouver area.
