Easy hike, beautiful trails

Beautiful hike and relatively easy until you get to the chains, which are pretty a little difficult. The Ribbon Creek campsite is also very beautiful as you can hear the falls all night long.

Hiking to Ribbon Falls was relatively easy even with the new trail post flood, great valley views. Taking the extra time to go up to Ribbon Lake is well worth it but that leg of the hike is not "easy" the hike has the best views but the cliff section was a bit of a challenge, but so worth it! Our km tracking states it was 29.78 km round trip from Parking lot to Ribbon lake and back.

Gorgeous views. This hike is good for all ages but best if started early in the day. Take snacks and beware that bears are out feasting on the excellent berry crop.

My best advice for this trail is the same advice I give for all of them. Start early, and don't forget your water. It is an easy hike with a waterfall at the end that makes the entire 22Km worth it. (and don't forget your sunscreen!!)

It's easy. But very long. Bring comfy shoes and lots of snacks. I'd try to be there earlier in the day than later because of the length. Gorgeous trail.

Hiked up to Ribbon lake with some friends today May 08, 2016 what an awesome hike going to be hard to top this one! There's many waterfalls on the way up including a pretty massive one! A couple kilometers past the falls up a fairly steep trail there is a chain trail to guide you up some tricky cliff sections. It's not to difficult but not for the feint of heart. After this point it got pretty snow packed but we pressed on up to Ribbon Lake. The lake is still mostly frozen over but probably won't be for too much longer. Also be sure to bring sunglasses it was really bright up there with the snow on a sunny day! This hike took us nearly 7 hours so plan accordingly also there's a lot of altitude gain if you go all the way to the lakes so be sure to bring layers as weather can change quickly in the mountains.

A family friendly hike with wide trials and a many bridges crossing the creek. There are benches and picnic table along the way to sit and enjoy the scenery . The trail is well marked. The views are beautiful, but it was crazy to see the flood damage from 2013 is still there. We hiked the trail March 29th and there is many icy and muddy spots. Didn't make it to the falls walking with a little one but enjoyed the walk. One I will add to my do it again list, I heard the fall and scramble are worth it.

It is still damaged from the flood so you have to do some problem solving. I would totally do it again.
