Very beautiful hike! It starts out with switchbacks as soon as you start out - you're climbing for the first 45 minutes or so. Then it opens up to the beautiful valley. Worth seeing the larches during the fall seasons for sure! Was very happy we started out earlier as the trail was packed coming down.
Great hike. Larch trees in full golden color. Glad we did it Friday, as tomorrow it will be packed with scenery seekers.
Beautiful place to hike but very busy with tourists.
Amazing! Outstanding! Highly recommend - especially in Sept.
Fantastic hike. Would have been much better if it wasn't so cloudy in the morning. However, towards the end of the hike, it started to clear up and it was beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful in the fall, but expect the trail to be completely packed with tourists (as Moraine Lake area usually is). Despite the heavy population, it's very worth it. Easy hike! Add difficulty by continuing to sentinel pass.
Best place to hike during Fall season. The larches are beautiful! It's a beginners hike for me. You have to be in Moraine Lake parking lot before 9am or you will not find a place to park.
Beautiful especially during Fall with the changing colours
