easy hike with a beautiful view
Really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful!
Did this hike about 3 weeks ago. We did the more difficult route. The lakes are gorgeous and lots of opportunities for pictures!
We went through the canyon to the top where we searched for the longer trail. It's not marked well so we had to explore a bit. It was in behind the small utility house above the tower. Glad we found it.
Beautiful view once you get high enough. I highly recommend taking the difficult trail instead of the easy one. Feels more like an actual hike and it's less busy.
Once we got to the stairs, we were able to go left and get real close to the water fall.
A little busy, but the "difficult" trail was not that hard for a first hike. Great views of the waterfall, Canmore and the mountain range.
Great with kids and dogs. Very busy trail.
This trail has its moments. Nice views o the Valley, cool cliff formations/surfaces for climbers. If you're not into crowds, maybe not for you. Mostly an easy walk, with heavily constructed elevation aids (basically steps). Venturing around these can be rewarding, however tread carefully as the ground is loose in many areas.
Loved this gorgeous hike that took you to two small lakes with beautiful blue and green colours. Easy hike, perfect to do if you have 1-3 hours while in and around Canmore.
I do this hike every year as a quick break! 2hr round trip max. Not difficult at all as the incline has lots of resting spots and viewpoints. Gives a great view of Canmore and has beautiful lakes to sit at by the top. There is also lots of rock climbing at the top. Good for kids and dogs. Best to go in September to beat crowds.
The trail was alright. The view at the top was spectacular!
Great view from the top.
Nice moderate hike, with some great views of waterfall via difficult route and breathtaking pond on top.
Wonderful views from the 'harder' route. If you take a dog use the easier route as the other may be too technical for a pup!
Beautiful and not to difficult. The lakes and waterfall are amazing when you get to the top.
Beautiful surroundings. Bit crowded but good alternative for a 1.5hr walk conveniently located near Canmore
