I had the opportunity to do this Trail back in August of 2015 the trail is absolutely beautiful and would recommend it. I live in Pennsylvania and I'll go back just to do it again! bear spray is highly recommended as well as boots that support your ankles.

We did this hike but went up to Phillips pass. Couldn't find that hike so I figured I add it to here. Its about 8.5 miles round trip.
beautiful hike with plenty of flowers. Locals said we missed the bloom by two weeks.

Nice trail that leads to a very pretty lake, with mountain views all around. Not one of my favorite trails in the area because it runs pretty close to the highway. But beautiful area nonetheless.

I mountain biked this trail a few years back. A grueling climb to the top, but it is well worth it. From the top you can see the entire region with mountains all around you. The ride down is pretty fast and furious. An awesome loop in beautiful country!

Hike up then ski lift down. Beautiful hike with lots of dogs and ski lift saves the knees.

Long and hard day's hike, down and back up top. Great views. Abundant wildlife and wild flowers. Stop at crystal blue pond midway to cool off your feet.

steep inclines, great trail

Please connect this trail to Jackson Peak.

Nice forested hike with great views. It was extremely dry when I went and the wildflowers were shriveled up. I imagine it's stunning when they are in bloom. You do need a high clearance vehicle to get there.

Beautiful trail. The flies are crazy! Bring bug spray.

Did this in August 2015 but came out through Cascade Canyon. Simply beautiful. While you need to carry bear mace we had no issues. Hammock camped in several different spots including the Alaskan Basin. Unfortunately, we did this at the same time the two girls were killed climbing the grand Teton. Here is a video tour: https://youtu.be/N_eAJAHtlp0 Enjoy

The Flies are insane.

Got lost twice on this uncrowded and poorly marked trail. Make sure you have a good trail guide when you start out. There are some great views of the Tetons, but other than that, it's mostly hiking through forest and meadow terrain. We were warned about an "aggressive grizzly" near the pasture, so bear spray is a must.

Great view of Tetons if you climb the mountain near the lake. Nice to bathe in cold lake water too...

5 days in the Tetons! Wildflowers are amazing this time of year. Summer mountain snow storm was interesting. Huckleberries were out as well. Great vistas and views. Be prepared for a variety of weather and temperature. Trekking poles are helpful. Parts of the trail are granite rock and its nice to have the poles, also solid footwear. Your feet will ache a little at the end of the day. This was an amazing adventure. 5 stars for sure!
