My favorite bug out hiking/camping trail area. The trail entrance for parking can be closed sometimes during winter, in which case you just park somewhere before the entrance and walk from there. The area is beautiful in winter with no tracks on the trail it was like walking on a white carpet with no depth to be perceived, a winter wonderland in other words. Whipple valley is the best to set up shop, I don't have pics of whipple although you can find it on google. Its the type of place you practice knife throwing for hours followed by deep contemplation of nature followed by knife throwing some more haha, best chill spot for beauty. The initial uphill hike is strenuous, but it's the type that makes you say it was worth it and feel great in the end.

A primitive backcountry experience into Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness. A long difficult hike, into very remote, rugged terrain.
