It was a good walk.

half of the trail is next to busy streets. I tried to loop but the trail past Audubon Park was washed out so had to go back to Oaks and use traffic bridge. Discovered the Audubon Frisbee Course though. Will be going back for that.

I like this trail because of all the tall trees that shade the trail along the way. I bike here during the summer because most of the shaded trail is a few degrees cooler than biking in straight Texas sun.

Meh. Not really a trail so much as a sidewalk that happens to wander into the woods (Half of it is literally the sidewalk of Duck Creek Rd). The part that's shaded would be nice if it weren't choked with trash.

This trail is very shaded and has some beautiful tall trees. However, I noticed a LOT of trash near the creek and the trail. This was probably due to the recent rains and the flooding. It just isnt very nice to look at right now.

The good: The trail has a lot of shadow with big mature trees and gives you the impression you are "In the woods" even when you never left urban area.It also has several resting points with benches and water fountains.

The bad: You are next to a creek with standing water this brings in bad smells and a LOT of mosquitoes and it wasn't even mosquito season I can't imagine this place on the summer BRING REPELLENT

Its perfect for hikers and casual recreational slow bikers. If you are a hard core route biker this trail is too unpredictable to go at a decent training speed nor it has the appropriate length go to White Rock lake instead.

Very nice try trail. Took me and my husband an hour to complete this trail.
