Hiked 8.5 miles today. Wouldn't hike it again. All paved, lots of graffiti, homeless people camped out right beside the trail near where it goes under Forest Lane. Can't really even enjoy the river for all the trash. I would bike it, but probably not alone.
This trail is far from "multiple activities." This is basically a bike path (I was the only person on foot I saw all day) with some places so full of graffiti that not being on a bike feels unsafe. I was looking for a nice hike. This was definitely not the place to go. Will not be returning.
