Very nice hike with beautiful lake views, suspension bridges and enough up and down ravines for a workout. Missed one sharp turn on the trail and we weren't the only ones. If you miss the turn you will be on pavement. Backtrack a short distance and pick up the trail going right down a ravine. We combined this with the Marble trail for a very nice hike just under 4 miles total.

Easy hiking, fishing was slow, but many trees to set up a hammock and just relax:)

I liked the views of the lake. Wished it didn't get dark on me. Would like a shortcut trail along the way, bc once you commit to the long trail, that's it. Great job marking all the trails with pink ribbon, yellow hiking and orange arrow signs.
Thank you Winchester, Tn.

Trails were nice but not well marked. I got lost quiet a few times and I'm an advanced hiker.

Great hike with lots of trails to explore. We didn't find the swing bridge, but the scenery was great. We were always close to the lake. This wasn't hard, but I wouldn't recommend it for small children, or those who have difficulty walking. There are several hills, small pathways, twists, turns, and lots of rocks and roots. We'll be back often.

Moderate trail. Two nice swinging bridges make enjoyable hike. Overlook closer to two miles down the trail. Occasionally see deer near the trail. Lakeshore trail begins at overlook but is not as well maintained. Trailhead at visitors center parking lot. Good half-day hike at Tim's Ford State Park near Winchester TN.

Lovely hike. Swinging bridge. Easy enough for all levels and lots of great lake views.

Trail is very clean and the view looping around the lake is wonderful. Highly recommend.

Nice trail for those taking children. Easy to follow path alongside lake with plenty of diversions. Enjoyed the swinging bridges. Took this trail in the fall and only saw a few others. The up and down trail did not seem very taxing, even for children , but seemed longer than the distance posted. Got off the path for some of the best spots and scenery. Did not see the creek , I guess the name fits.

Went with a friend and seven kids ages 4 - 13 and we all had a good time. Next time we will add in the 1.2 mile Marble Plains loop.

Swinging bridges are on Lost Creek Overlook Trail which is only 1.3 miles point to point and is not included in the 12 miles of the Ray Branch Trail.

This trail is not demanding but the lake views and swinging bridges make it very enjoyable for an early spring hike.

Took all three kids and wife out to overlook then took paved Marble Plains path back.

Relatively new trail through the woods overlooking the lake. Lots of flowering trees in spring.

Nice scenic, easy trail. Great asset to the park.
