This is one of my favorite Trails. Lots to see. I do it at least twice a year. Takes about an hour to get to the fall.

Great, short hike. We always meet some nice people on the trail and it stays in good shape. Parking lot fills up on nice weekends.

One of my favorite waterfall trails. I took the longer five mile round trip from Hampton TN and Rt. 321 (as opposed to the route in from Dennis Cove Road). It is much easier to get to this trailhead. The trail follows the scenic Laurel Fork for most of the way to the falls, with much of it on the Appalachian Trail. I had the added benefit of hiking earlier this year on a beautiful April day with lots of blooming wildflowers. There are a few rocky spots, but nothing too difficult. And the falls itself is stunning...and a spectacular place to take a lunch break!

Great hike, some tricky rocky parts but overall a perfectly moderate hike. Good for dogs, not for kids.

Lots to see and a good amount of challenge for an adventurous dog. Waterfall water was cold on a warm day in early September.
