Did this as part of a 100 mile section hike of the Palmetto Trail. This was pretty much all road walking with the vast majority of it being dirt roads. There was a long portion (couple of miles at least) of pavement walking. The part through the farmers field was completely overgrown and almost impassible (see pictures). If coming from the sea (like I did) stay to the right with the trees and when they end just push straight forward.
Did this as part of a 100 mile section hike of the Palemetto Trail. There is some pavement road walking, about 4 miles of it. The rest is dirt road walking which isn't so bad. There is also maybe a mile of trail next to some farm land that the maintainers had just, not sure, maybe rototilled? This is what the pictures are of and it was very nice.
