Very easy hike! Really beautiful and lots of wildlife along with beautiful mushrooms in the fall.

I took 3 dogs and my mother who has mobility issues. It was tough for her and a breeze for myself. Gorgeous views, lots of different kinds of mushrooms if you're there during the right time of year. Tons of wildlife which was lovely.

The trail doesn't actually start when the map says it does. You have to keep driving up that hill, when it forks take a left and you are there. The only bad thing about the hike was finding it.

So easy to find and so beautiful!

Good short trail that follows a stream then cuts over and follows the edge of the forest.

Best just before low-tide. Turn off of 101 isn't well marked, it just has a street sign "Baker Beach". Horse camp is at end of road. Trail passes from Baker Beach Horse Camp over the fore-dune to wide flat beach. Head North across Lilly Lake outlet stream on beach to base of cliffs below Hwy 101, interesting caves (with fishing net floats jammed high in the top by winter storms), groups of isolated rocks w pools/marine life (found Greenling and Sculpin up to 11"). At low-tide, can walk within a couple hundred yards of Sea Lion Cave entrance. From zero to a couple people at most year-round. Local resident.
