i used to live a half of a mile from this trail. its mostly just flat paved trail. perfect for biking and longboarding. however, construction for the gathering place has closed it down from 21st to around 41st.

Love this trail along the river. Lots to see! Can be very crowded on the weekends, which can make it hard to ride at times, but its a nice city trail.

Took an easy ride along the water on a Sunday afternoon. There were a decent amount of people, but no one was in anyone's way. It's a fairly long paved trail. You can spend a good amount of time riding.

Nice trail for walking. Wouldn't call it a hiking trail. Lots of people and bikes.

It was a nice walk. Very pretty and well maintained. But a city park. To me it was more like a nice long stroll down the sidewalk. It was nice, but for someone that likes to get out and hike this wasn't it. It's more of a city stroll with a view.

Tulsa River Parks has come a long way. This is a great area to get out and enjoy great weather and still stay close to all the activities downtown Tulsa now offers. There are plenty of playgrounds and nice pathways for walkers, runners and cyclists. My only concern occurs when taking small kids on walks here. The cyclists travel at a good pace and are always courteous to pedestrians, but the little ones can unintentionally create a wreck. All in all, this is a great family outdoor spot to get away for 15 minutes or the whole day.

4 Wheeling (mud-bogging) @ Chandler Park! O mygosh, I really had a lot of fun. The trails are pretty easy. There are a couple of tricky ones, but usually there was an alternate path next to it. You godown Avery Dr (W), about a 1/2 mile AFTER the Chandler Park entrance and take a R @ A BIG METAL UTILITY POLE, onto a little dirt road. It looks like you are entering a spot that would only allow you to turn around...BUT, then you just follow the dirt road into the wooded area....and shabang,,there you are! I would not suggest going alone, as there are a few spots you can get stuck in. You wind up @ 41st, over by the TCC West Campus.
