The trail on the map is not Krug Park trail! Krug trail is a 6.2 mile trail. I Like the trail especially the back side cedars when covered in snow. This trail could use markings as it crosses over itself and many creeks in the bottom making it a navigation issue for many. If you get lost you can usually head east and come out into Krug Park. Hike/Bike
I mountain biked this trail with a friend. We are noobs and not experienced mountain bikers and this trail whipped our butts lol. I enjoyed it but it was advanced and tricky and a great work out. We did about 3/4 of the trail and my buddy decided to call it quits but by then we were both exhausted and sweaty. It was lightly showering when we got there so the trail got kinda slick in spots. All in all I will do this again and maybe not have to walk my bike down so many drops.
I thought this was a great nature trail! I walked instead of biked, the trail was kept up well. We saw a few broken bottles, but you can't always stop that. The reason I didn't give this trail 5 stars is because the trail is not clearly marked and I'm not sure we even walked the entire trail because it went in all different directions at times. It would be nice if the milestones that are marked on the trail map were marked on the trail also. Altogether though, a great nature walk and I will be doing this one again!
Heidi H. on Krug Park Trail
Fallen trees and broken glass on several of the bike paths. Park did just host a festival so I'm hoping it gets cleaned up. Scenery was beautiful.
