It would be a great place to go for a walk. Running can be a little tricky at times due to the sand (which can be 3-4in deep in places). The grass seemed to well maintained to a below the ankle level. I will definitely be going back there next time I'm on the island.
Meander trail is on spot. Lovely little trail that you can meander and stroll thru. Combonation of trails and farm road. You'll eventually come by the old Gardner cottage, which is locked. Near here is an osprey nest where a pair of ospreys are quick to let you know they are there. A few yards from here the trail veers off to the pond. A pair of swans and ther chicks swam by.
The trail eventually gets to a marshy area with catonine tails on both sides. This is an elevated, wood trail...part of which was covered with water. I decided not to chance an backtracked.

This right on Cliff Road. Was an old 9 hole golf course donated. The trail is easy and follows the rolling hills of the old course to the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic. From there you can see Jetties Beach, the entrance to the harbor and Great Point light house (if it's a clear day).

Easy trail (as are all trails on the island). The trail is actually made up of three different trails. You can choose to do all three or do the shorter loops. Beautiful views of the ponds and ocean. Trails have interpretive signs.
